John Mastriano

With an MFA in Integrated Media Arts and more than a decade behind the camera, I am drawn to stories that illuminate the fragile, vital threads connecting humanity and the natural world. My work seeks not only to capture beauty, but to provoke reflection—inviting audiences into conversations that linger long after the screen goes dark.

My films have screened at leading festivals both in the United States and internationally, including DOC NYC at Village East by Angelika and the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival at Cinema Village Theater. Across each project, I strive to harness the power of cinematic storytelling as a catalyst for conservation, empathy, and meaningful social change.
